Maryland Integrated Science Assessment

The Maryland Integrated Science Assessment (MISA) is administered to all fifth grade, eighth grade, and high school students every spring. The test was first administered in the 2016-17 school year for grades 5 and 8, replacing the former Maryland School Assessment (MSA) in science.  MISA is a computer-based assessment made up of four “units.” WFES 5th grade students will participate in MISA on March 13th and 15th. Students do not need any special preparation for the assessment; just a good night's sleep and a healthy breakfast.
