Dear WFES Community,

I look forward to seeing you in the building during American Education Week!  At the last PTA meeting, I shared information about the Measures of Academic Progress (MAP).   I want you to have as much information as possible about this assessment as the fall results will be coming home via backpack this Wednesday, November 19.  Attached to this message is a link that will take you to our website.  This document is called the "MAP Parent Information Packet".  The packet is comprised of three main components.  A. The presentation shared at the PTA meeting that describes the ins and outs of MAP at WFES.  B. Home Report Section: This document will accompany your child's MAP report. C. The MAP Parent Tool Kit:  This is a resource developed by NWEA, the company who manages/runs MAP.   If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact your child’s teacher or me.  Stay warm!
