In keeping with tradition, West Friendship Elementary School will be holding a virtual sing-a-long this Wednesday morning, December 23rd, viewed in two separate Google meets. Grades 3-5 will be able to join using the code WFES-SING from 9:30 to 10:00. Grades K-2 will be able to join using the same code of WFES-SING from 10:15 to 10:45. A calendar event will be created on your child's homeroom calendar.
The sing-a-long will consist of ten songs that students may sing along, dance, and/or listen to throughout the event. Students and staff will hear the music played and sung by Mr. Umla and/or on pre-recorded singing tracks. All guests in the meet should have their microphones turned off due to the time delay of large groups singing on such meets, producing a non-uniformity of participating voices. As was the case in previous years, this event is not mandatory, but we hope to see many students and staff in attendance as we send our children and staff off for winter break!
