WFES Hearing and Vision Rescreening:  February 28th

Attention parents/guardians of students in grades K, 1st, and new to Maryland Public Schools:  

Students who were absent on the original screening date (February 23rd) will be screened today. If your child wears glasses, please be sure your child wears/brings them to school that day.  If you have any questions or wish to opt out, please notify Beth Collora, RN at Elizabeth_collora@hcpss.org

The Howard County Health Department will be coming to WFES on 2/23/23 for our annual screening. If your child wears glasses, please be sure your child wears/brings them to school that day.  If you have any questions or wish to opt out, please notify Beth Collora, RN at Elizabeth_collora@hcpss.org 

The WFES Winter Concert will be held Thursday, January 26th at West Friendship Elementary School. Third Grade Strings, Fourth Grade Chorus, and Fourth Grade Band students need to arrive at 5:30 PM. The concert will begin at 6:00pm. Fourth and Fifth Grade Strings, Fifth Grade Chorus, and Fifth Grade Band students need to arrive at 7:00pm with a concert start time of 7:30pm. The 2022 holiday season marks the 75th anniversary of the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program! The basic mission of the program is to collect new, unwrapped toys, and distribute those toys to less fortunate children (up to age 12) at Christmas. West Friendship ES will be a toy drop location this year! Please consider donating a new, unwrapped toy to our toy drop box (outside the main office) beginning November 14th through December 12th . Thank you for your consideration
