Black History Month Trivia Event

Join Mr. Haskins (WFES G/T Resource teacher) for a trivia event to celebrate Black History Month. Students and families will have a chance to answer Kahoot questions about notable African Americans and Black history events and milestones. Students will get the opportunity to use some of what they have learned from the videos shown during Black History Month morning announcements, and hopefully, have a lot of fun!

Virtual Field Trip - NASA Goddard Space Flight Center

Please join the PTA on our upcoming Virtual Field Trip at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. Living and Working in Space: People are living and working in space right now! Participants will discover many of the different ways that scientists, engineers and astronauts have developed to help humans live in space. They will also learn about the parts of an astronaut’s spacesuit and then look at actual food items sent to the International Space Station.

MAP Math Gr 1 - 5

On Wednesdays, February 10th, students in grades 1-5 will take the Measured Academic Progress (MAP) assessment. The data from the MAP assessment will help schools and teachers measure your student’s academic progress. The MAP test does not affect grades and the difficulty adjusts depending on how your child responds.
